What is Sehat Insaf Card – New Update (Registration)
Health and Education are two core rights of any citizen, but sadly the people of Pakistan are not entitled to them, at least in a dignified manner. After saying this, all new Governments make promises to bring reforms, but only a few prove it practically.
In the past, several Political Governments have initiated various Social Welfare Programs of healthcare services for below-par families without financial responsibilities. However, only a few are acknowledged, and Insaf Sehat Card is one of them.
Insaf Sehat Card is a Flagship Social Welfare Venture of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Under this program, financially disturbed families can claim expensive Medical Treatments in Private Sector Hospitals at the government’s expense.
The program was launched in 2015 by the Federal government with Punjab and KP Government onboard. In the initial phase, NADRA assisted the government in identifying deserving families, and so far, around 6,808,513 families have utilized this scheme.
Under Insaf Sehat Sahulat, the beneficiaries can get Medical Treatments for various deadly diseases alongside Hospitalization, Maternity Services, Consultations, Surgeries, and Follow-ups in Government and Private Hospitals.
Treatment Packages Under Sehat Insaf Card
The Insaf Sehat Program offers two treatment packages to recipients – Primary Care and Secondary Care. The funds and services reserved by the Government for those categories are different, while Sehat Card Holder can access both programs.
Primary Care
Under Primary Care, the participants receive PKR 300,000 Aid per year. The program aims to provide treatment for several diseases, such as Heart Diseases, Burns, Kidney Dialysis, Diabetes, Organ Failure, Cancer, and Neurosurgical Issues.
Secondary Care
The Secondary Care Sehat Program provides PRK 60,000 to each family per year. Through this initiative, the recipients can claim Free Surgical Procedures alongside Maternity Services, Treatments for Fractures, Local Transportation, and Outdoor Check-ups.
Diseases & Treatments Covered Under Sehat Insaf Card
One of the core reasons behind Sehat Card’s popularity among the general public is its extensive range of Medical Treatment Services. From Outdoor Checkups to Free Consultancy, Surgeries, and Follow-up cures for diseases, Insaf Sehat offers a complete Healthcare package.
The users of Sehat Card can claim treatments for all Types of Cancers, Accidents & Emergencies, Artificial Limbs (Prosthetics), Breast Cancer Screening, Cardiovascular Problems, ENT, General Surgery, General Medicine, Gynae & Obstetrics, Neurosurgical Diseases, Diabetes Complications, and Orthopedics.
