Recently, the Punjab Govt has launched the Green Tractor Scheme to provide financial support to farmers and revolutionize the agriculture sector. Under which the Punjab govt will provide special subsidy to the farmers for the purchase of tractors. In the first phase of this scheme, 9500 farmers are being provided a subsidy of Rs.10 lakh for the purchase of tractors by the Punjab govt, whose registration process has been completed. And initially, the draw was to be held on October 20, 2024, but later this date was changed to October 25, 2024. And if the farmer deposits his share amount and the registration fee of the tractor within the next one month, then the process of delivery of the tractor will be started as soon as the fee is deposited by the Punjab govt. And the delivery order of the tractor will be issued to the farmer within the next one month.
